You can add a report gadget to the Focal Point^® home page by specifying the XML URL of the gadget. You can specify the required parameters, and view the report data as a table, chart, or graph.

Before you begin

You must be a workspace administrator.

Procedure

1 Log in to Focal Point^® as workspace administrator, and then open the workspace to which to add the report gadget.

2 Click user name > Home Page Settings.

3 Click Add Window, and then click OpenSocial gadget.

4 In the XML URL field, enter the URL of the Report gadget that you want to display in the home page. Use this format:

https://server:port number/SPARQL_Gateway/reportdefinition/reportID/gadget

5 Select Visible, and then click OK.

A new section on report gadget is added in the homepage setting window.

6 Click the Home menu.

The content fetched by the Report gadget is displayed on the home page.

Note Some of the report gadgets might prompt you to log in and authorize the SPARQL endpoint. A log in link is displayed below the report gadget. Click the link and follow the instructions to log in and authorize the endpoint.
