Specifying application settings
You can configure settings to deliver account information and emails to users, process notifications, and forward exceptions to an administrator.
Procedure
1 Click Application > Mail.
2 Double-click each setting to specify this information:
 
Property
Description
SMTP Host and SMTP Port
Set the values for your environment.
Focal Point® Server Mail Name
Specify the name that is in the From field in emails that you receive from the product.
Focal Point® Server Mail Address
Specify the address of the server that handles emails for the product.
Default Mail Footer
Type a message to be displayed at the end of emails. For example, you might include the number to contact support.
Mail format
Select one of HTML, Plain Text, or Mixed (Text and HTML).
3 Click Application > Support and Contact, and then set the attributes on the Support and Contact Settings page.
4 Click Application > Login Page. Set the Login or Balancer URL to the same URL that you use to log in to the product; for example:
http://focalpoint.company.com/fp/servlet/Login
