Specifying application settings
You can configure the settings to deliver account information and emails to users, process notifications, forward exceptions to an administrator, and so on.
Procedure
1 Click Application > Mail.
2 Double-click each setting to specify this information:
Set the SMTP Host and SMTP Port attributes for your environment.
Set the Focal Point® Server Mail Name to the name that is in the From field in emails that you receive from the product.
Set the Focal Point® Server Mail Address to the address of the server that handles emails for the product.
For the Default Mail Footer, type a message that will be displayed at the end of emails. For example, you might include the number to contact support.
Set the Mail Format to HTML, Plain Text, or Mixed (Text and HTML).
3 Click Application > Support and Contact and set the attributes on the Support and Contact Settings page.
4 Click Application > Login Page. Set the Login or Balancer URL to the same URL that you use to log in to Focal Point®; for example:
http://focalpoint.company.com/fp/servlet/Login
