1 Create a new directory, and then extract the contents of the ult_licesrv.zip file to it.
2 Navigate to:
ult_licesrv/bin/linux_intel/64bit
3 Run setup.
4 Enter the Path/Directory location where you want to install the UNICOM License Server (for example: /UnicomGlobalLicenseServer).
If the path does not exist, the installation program creates it.
5 Enter c to continue with the specified directory.
The installation program asks: “Do you want setup to continue (y = yes, q = quit)”
6 Press y to continue.
The “Installation complete” message is displayed.
7 Navigate to the directory in which you installed the license server, and then type this command:
ls –lh
The init, manage and ult_licesrv64 files are listed.
8 To import the license file, enter this command:
./manage
(Make sure that you have executable permissions on this file.)
9 Type I, and then press Enter.
10 Specify the directory that the license file is in, and its name.
For example, if the license file is called License.FP, and it is in the /installer/FP70 directory, type /installer/FP70/License.FP, and then press Enter.
The program asks: “Do you want to import this License? [y/n]”
11 Type y, and then press Enter. Press Enter again to continue.
12 To see the details of imported license file, enter l (that is, the first option that is on the screen).
Make sure that the expiry data matches your subscription, and then press Enter to continue.
13 Type X to exit.
The license server installation directory now contains a licenses subdirectory; that directory contains your license file.
