Creating and loading the calculator tapes
You can create calculator tapes, load existing tapes, save tapes to the set of default tapes, and load the tape from the default set of tapes. These saved tapes can be reused for all new elements that you create and you can customize the tapes locally.
Procedure
1 In the Investment analysis mode, click the Calculator tab.
2 Click New Calculator Tape, and then type a name.
3 Click Tapes > Save Tape.
4 To load an existing tape:
To load a tape from the list of calculators, click Tapes > Load Tape.
To load a tape that is saved to a specific financial model time period, click the data point on the graph.
Adding a tape to the default tapes list
An administrator can save a calculator tape to the list of default tapes. Default tapes are displayed for all new elements that are created
1 Click the Calculator tab.
2 Add or edit the variables.
3 Click Tapes > Save to Default Tapes.
4 In the message box that is displayed, click OK.
Loading default tape for editing
An administrator can load the default tape for editing purpose. This tape will be displayed for all new elements that are created.
1 Click the Calculator tab.
2 Click Tapes > Load Default Tape for Editing.
3 In the message box that is displayed, click OK.
What to do next
You can set the visibility of the tape, save results to a particular time period, change the value of variables, and run the simulation again.
