In this lesson, you estimate the cost to be invested on each developer throughout the project lifecycle. You create a variable to estimate this cost per developer.
1 Click the dropdown list below the graphical grid area and select the Engineering stream.
2 Click the Variables tab.
3 Click Add Variable.
4 Specify the details for the variable:
▪ In the Name field, enter BurdenedLabor.
▪ In the Description field, enter Burdened labor cost per engineer.
▪ In the Type field, select Normal.
▪ Enter the first value as 200,000. This is the mean value.
▪ Enter the second value as 25,000. This is the standard deviation value.
5 Click Save.
