Global administrators can reset a user password and send account information to that user whose password has been reset.
About this task
Account information mails can be sent to any of the users who are authenticated by Focal Point. Sending account information to a user results in disabling the current password for the user and generating a new password. The new password is shared with the user in the account information mail. The user name and password might not be included in the account information mail depending on the authentication type that is used.
Procedure
1 From the User menu, select Administration. Click Users and then click Administer Users.
2 Expand the Users node, and then select a user.
3 From the Actions menu, select Send Account Information.
4 In the Message field of the Send Account Information window, type a message.
5 Optional: To receive a receipt of the message, select Receipt.
