Focal Point attributes for CLM integration
The IT portfolio management template uses most of the attributes that are supported in the integration. When you integrate with a Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) system, you handle the same project information from a portfolio and a project perspective. As part of the setup, you must specify integration attribute aliases in Focal Point, that are recognized by both products.

Attribute names can differ in the products. However, to share and update the content of the integration attributes, all integration attributes must use the specified aliases. When you create a project, the following Focal Point attributes are sent to the CLM system:

When you create a project, links to the project in the CLM system are created:
The Link to Implementation Project attribute for a project in Focal Point contains a visible link to the project.
The Implementation Project URI attribute in the Projects module contains the integration connector link, which is mandatory for the integration. This attribute is hidden from users, and the link does not direct you to the project in the CLM system.
