Troubleshooting : Configuring language settings

Configuring language settings
Focal Point supports the use of Unicode characters for all data. However, to use certain east Asian languages, such as Japanese, you must complete some configurations. You do not need to configure Focal Point to use other languages.
To configure Focal Point to use east Asian languages
1 Install the J2SE Runtime Environment.
Note This does not include support for East Asian languages; however, that support is not needed for Japanese.
2 Click Start > Control Panel > Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options.
3 Select Regional and Language Options.
4 On the Languages tab, select Install files for East Asian languages, and click OK. To install the files, you need the Microsoft Windows CD that contains the files.
5 Restart the computer.
