Lesson 5: Add view commands for bulk operation
In this lesson, you add view commands to create artifacts from Focal Point to the Requirement Management application and create a project in the Change and Configuration Management application of IBM Rational solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management.
View commands
Generally, a large number of business needs are prioritized and then artifacts are created on the IBM Rational solution for CLM applications. Instead of creating one artifact at a time, you can use the Create artifacts and associate the links view command to publish and create links for all of the business needs with a single click.

Steps
1 Log in to Focal Point. Click the Settings icon Settings icon and then, from the Configure group, click OSLC view command.
2 Click Add view command, and then click the Approved projects view.
3 On the “Add, edit or remove view commands” page, do this:
In the OSLC view command name, type RRC
In the Linked elements list, select Business Needs.
In the Attribute where the CLM servers were configured list, select RRC‑FP.
To create artifacts in the Requirements Management application, from the Command list, select Create artifacts and associate the links.
Click Create. The view command to publish business needs to the Requirements Management application is created.
4 Click Add view command, and then click the Approved projects view.
5 On the “Add, edit or remove view commands” page, do this:
In the OSLC view command name, type RTC
In the Linked elements list, select Business Needs.
In the Attribute where the CLM servers were configured list, select RTC-FP.
To create a project in the Change and Configuration Management application, from the Command list, select Create project to the Jazz Team Server.
Click Create. The view command to create a project with business needs in the Change and Configuration Management application is created.
You created the OSLC view commands to create artifacts in the Requirements Management application and create a project in the Change and Configuration Management application.
