Lesson 6: Add Focal Point as an outbound friend in IBM Rational solution for CLM
In this lesson, you add Focal Point as an outbound friend in IBM Rational solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management to view the Focal Point business needs in the IBM Rational solution for CLM applications.

Prerequisite
You must have administrator credentials in the IBM Rational solution for CLM applications.
Steps
1 In Focal Point, close the Sample Project workspace. Then click the user name, and then click Administration. On the Application tab, click Login Page. Click the Edit icon for Login or Balancer URL and type the Focal Point URL, for example:
http://<hostname>:<portnumber>/fp/servlet/Login
Click the Save icon.
2 Log out of Focal Point and log in to the IBM Rational solution for CLM Requirements Management application by going to:
https://<hostname>:<portnumber>/jts/admin
Click Jazz Team Server - Server Administration, and then click Manage Server.
3 In the navigation bar, click Friends (Outbound).
4 Add Focal Point as a friend:
Click Add.
In Name, type My RFP.
In the Root Services URI field, enter the Focal Point URI that corresponds to:
http://<hostname>:<portnumber>/fp/resources/rootservices
In Consumer Secret, type FP.
Clear Trusted.
Click Create Friend. If prompted to authorize the provisional key, click Finish.
5 Repeat the previous steps to add Focal Point as a friend to the Change and Configuration Management application, by going to:
https://<hostname>:<portnumber>/ccm/admin
The consumer keys are generated and added as outbound friends in IBM Rational solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management.
