Data Link Properties: Provider
Use the Provider tab in the Data Link Properties dialog box to select the provider you want to use.
Selecting the appropriate OLE DB Provider
▪To connect to the UNICOM Intelligence Data Model, select UNICOM Intelligence DM-n OLE DB Provider (where n is the version number) from the list of OLE DB Providers.
▪To connect to another provider, select the appropriate entry from the list of OLE DB Providers (for example to select a SQL Server provider, select Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server from the list).
Refer to the appropriate database provider documentation for information on configuring connection strings.
