Accessing data using IBM SPSS Statistics

Data Model > Accessing the UNICOM Intelligence Data Model > Working with the Case Data Model > Accessing case data from third party applications > ODBC applications and the UNICOM Intelligence Data Model > Accessing data using IBM SPSS Statistics

1 From the IBM SPSS Statistics menus, choose: File > Open Database > New Query.

2 Select the required DSN. Using the above example you would choose the DSN named MyMRDataSource.

3 The VDATA table appears (the default table for all of the data presented by the UNICOM Intelligence Data Model). Select the variables you want to bring into IBM SPSS Statistics.

4 (Optional.) To edit the SQL syntax, on the last screen of the wizard choose Paste as Syntax, and edit the query using the IBM SPSS Statistics Syntax Editor.
