3: Creating a new SQL Server database

1 Open SQL Server Management Studio.

2 Use the + symbol to expand the server on which you want to create the database.

3 Select Databases.

4 From the Action menu, choose New Database.

5 Enter a Name for the database.

6 Click OK.
