Amending the Column setting for the card number (stage 3)
You need to carry out this stage only if your Quantum file contains card numbers. This is because Metadata Model to Quantum does not allow you to specify the starting column of the card number.
1 Start Metadata Model Explorer and from the File menu, choose Open Document. Select the .mdd file that you saved in the previous step and click Open.
2 In the left-hand pane, click Custom Properties (Datasource) so that it is highlighted.
3 In the right-hand pane, double-click CardNum_ColStart. This opens a dialog box.
4 Change the number in the top text box to the starting column of the card number on your Quantum file and click OK.
5 From the Tools menu, click SaveAs to save your .mdd file. Then close Metadata Model Explorer.
Your questionnaire definition (.mdd) file is now ready to be used to read your Quantum file.
