Activation Console
The Activation Console allows you to monitor questionnaire activation status. The console provides options for viewing pending and completed activations, and creating activation history filters. The console is composed of the following tabs:
Activation History tab: View the status of both pending and completed activations.
Filters tab: Options for filtering questionnaire activation history.
Settings tab: Options for configuring the Activation Console.
When the Activation Console is launched, an icon displays in the Windows taskbar. Whenever a questionnaire is submitted for activation, or completes activation, the icon provides relevant status notification messages. The notification messages include the survey URL link for each completed activation. See Settings tab for more information.
Retaining client activation history after upgrading from UNICOM Intelligence 7
In UNICOM Intelligence 7, the activation client DDF folder is in:
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\Activate\
In UNICOM Intelligence 7.0.1 (and all subsequent releases), the activation client DDF folder is in:
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\Activate\<Data Collection Version Number>
In order to retain the UNICOM Intelligence 7 client activation history, all version 7 activation client MDD files (ClientActivationMessages.mdd, ClientActivationRequests.mdd, and ClientActivationUserInfo.mdd) and DDF files (ActivationMessages.ddf, ActivationRequests.ddf, and ActivationUserInfo.ddf) must be manually moved from the version 7 Activate directory to the Activate\current_version directory.
