Navigating the Question List panel
The Question List Panel organizes previous entry information in a spreadsheet format with rows and columns.
Rows in the Question List Panel
Each row represents an entry for a variable. For questions that use grids, each subject of the grid is a separate variable and is displayed as a unique row within the Question List Panel.
Note The Question List Panel only displays entries and variables that appear in the survey before the current response being keyed. Variables that come after the current response do not appear in the panel until they have been keyed. Variables that are skipped as a result of an IF...GOTO sequence are not displayed in the Question List Panel, unless their values are automatically filled and the survey author specifies that they be displayed.
Columns in Question List Panel
The Question List Panel includes the following columns for each entry:
▪Variable Name
▪Question Text
▪Operator Entry
▪Response Code (when applicable)
When entering single or multiple categorical responses, the Operator Entry column displays the entered response text and the Response Code column displays the entered keycodes. For all other question types (for example, numeric or text) the Operator Entry column displays the keyed response and the Response Code column remains blank.
Viewing longer text in cells
If the cell text exceeds the cell size, move the mouse cursor over the cell to display the full text. This cannot be accomplished by using the keyboard
