Configuring Data Entry Player views
The Data Entry Player allows you to customize your interface view to best suit your needs. Panels can be hidden and brought back into view, docked, and re-sized. You can save and restore your view configuration. The default view configuration can also be easily restored.
Hiding panels from view
To hide a panel, do one of these:
Click X in the panel’s title bar.
Select the View menu from the main toolbar and deselect the panel.
Note The Entry Panel cannot be removed from view; all other panels can be removed.
You might find that removing one or more panels from view improves performance by increasing the transition speed to the next variable after an entry has been made.
Restoring a panel for viewing
To restore a panel that has been removed from view, select the View menu from the main toolbar, and then click the desired panel.
Docking panels
Relocate a panel by dragging it to a new location. When you release the panel, it changes its size according to the new location, and all the other panels automatically change their locations.
Saving panel views
To save panel view configuration, select Save Settings on the View menu (or press Alt+V, V).
Restoring saved panel views
To restore a saved panel view configuration, select Restore Saved Settings on the View menu (or press Alt+V, S).
Restoring default panel views
To restore the interface to its default view, select the View menu from the main toolbar, and then select Restore Default Window Configuration.
