Entering a numeric response
A Numeric question allows for numbers to be keyed for indicating quantities within a valid range. Numbers can only be keyed in the Data Entry Player using the keyboard.
Entering a numeric response
1 Enter the number(s) in the Entry Panel.
2 Press Enter or click Next to confirm the response and advance the Data Entry Player to the next variable.
The entered numeric values must be within a valid range. That is, the entered values must fall between a minimum and maximum value that was programmed by the survey’s author. When you key and confirm a non-valid numeric value, the Data Entry Player alerts you and requires that a valid numeric value be keyed before proceeding to the next variable. For more information, see Resolving erroneous entries.
