Scheduling DMS files
Sometimes you may want to run your DMS files unattended (for example, at night) or schedule a batch export to be run at regular intervals. You can achieve this using the At command or the Windows Scheduled Task wizard.
You can use the Scheduled Tasks window to view and modify the tasks that you have scheduled. The Task Scheduler records in a log file details of the tasks that run and any errors that are encountered. The log file is useful when you want to check on the success of tasks that run in the background or overnight, for example, and when investigating tasks that fail to run successfully.
To open the Scheduled Tasks window
1 From the Windows Start menu, choose Settings > Control Panel.
2 In the Control Panel, choose Scheduled Tasks.
