Activating the script
Activating the script makes it available for test and live interviewing with UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server.
1 From the menu select Tools > Activate
This opens the Activate dialog box in which you define the requirements for the project. (The Activate command tries to log you in to the activation process using a trusted user account before it displays the dialog box. If this fails, you will see a login dialog box. Enter your UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin user name and password, and click OK to continue.)
2 The default settings are sufficient for your first interview script, so click Activate.
3 On the Confirm Activate dialog box, click Yes.
4 You'll see a progress indicator displayed while the project is being activated, followed by a message box confirming that activation is complete. Click OK to close the message box.
5 To run an interview using UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server, open your browser and enter the following URL, where server_name is the name of your interviewing server. If you have UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server installed on your local computer you can use localhost as the server name.
http://server_name/mrIWeb/mrIWeb.dll?I.Project=MYFIRSTINTERVIEW&i.test=1
6 The questions will be displayed in your browser as they were in UNICOM Intelligence Professional, but this time you will have to answer each question as it is displayed.
If you are unable to activate your script, it may be because the name of the project management server has not been set in UNICOM Intelligence Professional. The project management server is the computer that stores information about each project, such as the location of the project's files, the project's status, and other parameters that control how the project will work. Follow the steps below to specify the name of the project management server.
7 From the menu select Tools > Options
8 On the Options dialog box, type the name of the server in the input box to the right of the Project Management Server label. If you have UNICOM Intelligence Professional and UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server installed on your local computer you can enter localhost as the server name, otherwise check with your UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server administrator what name you should type here.
9 Click OK.
