Modifying the server configuration for synchronization
UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Synchronization Console supports project workflow once the application is configured at startup for connectivity to servers that are defined in the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Synchronization Console. An application limitation requires you to perform the following process if you decide to change a primary and/or secondary server URL for synchronization:
1 Exit the Configuration Wizard. For more information, see Starting and stopping the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Synchronization Console.
2 Create a local deployment package that contains all UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Synchronization Console projects. For more information, see Creating a package for deployment.
3 Open the Configuration Wizard and make the desired changes to the Primary and/or Secondary URL. For more information, see Configuration wizard.
4 Rename the default UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer directory. The default directory location is:
C:\Documents and Settings\<your Windows user name>\Application Data\UNICOM\Intelligence\DataCollection\6\
5 Start the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Synchronization Console. For more information, see Starting and stopping the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Synchronization Console.
6 Use UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer to import the local deployment package that you saved previously. For more information, see Importing a project
Once imported, projects can be managed while linked to the newly configured server.
Error dialog
You will receive the following error message if you change the Primary or Secondary URL, when the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Synchronization Console is already connected to a server:
Machine is not registered in DPM
Follow the above steps to resolve the error.
