When a project that includes sample data is synchronized with the server, the project is automatically associated with the assigned interviewers regardless of whether or not sample data is assigned to the interviewers. This may result in situations where interviewers are assigned a project, but not sample data, and the option to allow the interviewers to create new samples is not set. In this case, the interviewers have a project that they can open but cannot do anything with (there are no participants in the list and the New Case button is disabled).
