Accessing and using the Gallery
The Gallery can be accessed via the Insert menu: Insert > From Gallery.
The Gallery home dialog provides the following category options when initially opened:
Survey Fragments
Displays a list of all available survey fragments. Survey fragments are commonly used questionnaire segments. For example, a common fragment could ask specific questions regarding your address (street number and name, city, state or province, and so on).
Questions
Displays all available question templates. Question templates determine the appearance of questions and their responses on an interview page.
Functionality
Displats all available code snippets. The code snippets can perform specific tasks such as adding a GoTo button, hiding the Previous button, remove a page header, and so on.
Layout
Displays all available layout templates. Layout templates control the overall survey appearance such as question positions, navigation buttons, banners, color scheme, and so on.
Note It may be useful to add the tag <meta http-equiv="x-ua-compatible" content="IE=edge" > to templates that you put in the gallery. The tag makes the template behave the same when running in UNICOM Intelligence Author and in Microsoft Internet Explorer. In particular, some of the HTML5 tags that are supported in Internet Explorer display properly in Author preview mode when the tag is added. Internet Explorer runs in compatibility mode when used in Author preview mode. The tag overrides some of the compatibility mode controls.
Category filter options
After selecting the appropriate category, you are presented with a list of all available category items and a filter pane that allows you to filter the library items. You can filter by specific tags (scripts, survey fragments, and so on) that are specific to each section. Question type filtering is only available in the Questions section.
