Setting up conditions for text questions

When you add a text question, the right side of the pane enables you to define a condition based on the selected question.
Select the option from the list box that you want to apply:
▪includes: Include respondents who entered a response that contains the specified text. Enter the text in the text box.
▪begins with: Include respondents who entered a response that begins with the specified text. Enter the text in the text box.
▪ends with: Include respondents who entered a response that ends with the specified text. Enter the text in the text box.
▪is empty: Include respondents who entered a response that contains an empty or Null value or white space only.
▪is not empty: Include respondents who entered a response that does not contain an empty or Null value or white space only.
▪is exactly: Include respondents who entered a response that contains exactly what you specify in the text box.
▪is different from: Exclude respondents who entered a response that is identical to the specified text. Enter the text in the text box.
▪does not begin with: Exclude respondents who entered a response that begins with the specified text.
