Installing the UNICOM Intelligence Developer Documentation Library
The UNICOM Intelligence Developer Documentation Library is a collection of tools for developing your own applications and for modifying existing UNICOM Intelligence products. The documentation that comes with the UNICOM Intelligence Developer Documentation Library provides a host of valuable technical information about how the UNICOM Intelligence products work. It includes sections about UNICOM Intelligence Data Model.
The UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin section includes the following topics:

To install the UNICOM Intelligence Developer Documentation Library
Note If you have installed an earlier version of the UNICOM Intelligence Developer Documentation Library, it is recommended that you remove it before installing the new version.
1 Verify you meet all system requirements. See “System requirements” on page 5 and “Samples and tools” on page 5.
2 From the UNICOM Intelligence Data Model Installer window, choose Install UNICOM Intelligence Developer Documentation Library. Follow the instructions on each screen.

Samples and tools
The UNICOM Intelligence Developer Documentation Library includes a number of samples and tools. All of these require UNICOM Intelligence Data Model 7.5, and some have additional requirements:
▪Three C# wizards that can be used with Visual Studio .NET to simplify the creation of an UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin activity. The wizards require installation of UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin 7.5.
▪Source code and executable files for these .NET applications: DM Query, WinDMSRun, and DPM Explorer.NET.
To run WinDMSRun, you need UNICOM Intelligence Professional 7.5.
To run DPM Explorer.NET, you need UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin 7.5.
To compile the source code, you need these products and Visual Basic .NET.
▪Sample DataManagementScript (DMS) files. To run these files, you must install UNICOM Intelligence Professional 7.5.
▪Sample mrScriptBasic files. To run these files, you must have UNICOM Intelligence Data Model 7.5. Some of these samples have additional requirements, such as Microsoft Office or UNICOM Intelligence Professional 7.5.
▪Sample mrScriptMetadata files. To use these files, you must have UNICOM Intelligence Data Model 7.5.
▪The Short Drinks sample comes in the form of a SQL Server backup of a relational MR (RDB) database. You need SQL Server Client Tools to restore and use this database.
