Supported upgrade paths
You can install UNICOM Intelligence 7.5 applications on machines where the following UNICOM Intelligence applications are installed, effectively upgrading your current installation:
▪UNICOM Intelligence 6
▪UNICOM Intelligence 6.0.1
▪UNICOM Intelligence 7
If you are using a version of SPSS Data Collection prior to release 6, you must first uninstall the older version before installing UNICOM Intelligence 7.5 applications. The UNICOM Intelligence 7.5 installer does not support upgrading from Data Collection applications prior to version 6.
Notes
▪You cannot upgrade 32-bit applications to 64-bit applications. If you want to install UNICOM Intelligence 7.5 64-bit edition applications, you must first uninstall any 32-bit UNICOM Intelligence applications you currently have installed. An uninstall will not affect project files or SQL objects. You can install UNICOM Intelligence 7.5 after running an uninstall without affecting existing projects.
▪When upgrading 32-bit applications on a 64-bit system, you must launch the installation setup executable (setup.exe) from the installation package’s win32 directory.
