Modifying an installation
Note If you plan to change shared preparation file folder location during the modify/repair installation, run modify/repair directly from the installation package instead of from the Windows Change/Remove feature.
1 Log on with the user name you created for installing the UNICOM Intelligence Server applications.
2 From the Windows Start menu, select Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > UNICOM Intelligence Server.
3 Click Change/Remove to open the UNICOM Intelligence Server Maintenance window.
4 Select Modify and click Next. You can:
▪add/remove features on the local computer (UNICOM Intelligence Load Tool, Phone Interviews, Remote Administration, and so on)
▪add/remove servers to an existing cluster. Adding servers via the modify option requires the cluster's primary server to be rebooted. To add servers to a cluster without interrupting active services and interviews, see

6 After modification, either reboot each UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin, or navigate to:
[INSTALL_FOLDER]\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\7\Interviewer Server\Server
on each UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin and run RegIntSvr.exe. Both actions register the Interviewing Service with the Web Service.
