Changes for computers with multiple IP addresses
If you have installed the Web Service onto a computer with multiple IP addresses, and have websites set up for each IP address, you must update the project management database so that it refers to the IP addresses of the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server websites rather than the names of the computers on which the Web Service is installed. The recommended way to do this is to use DPM Explorer, which is installed as part of the UNICOM Intelligence Developer Documentation Library.
1 Navigate to:
[INSTALL_FOLDER]\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\7\DDL\Code\Tools\VB.Net\DPMExplorer.Net
2 Double click DPMExplorer.exe.
3 In the left frame of the DPM Explorer screen, click Clusters.
4 In the upper right frame, click DefaultCluster.
The value of this property is displayed in the lower right frame.
5 In the lower right frame, replace the computer names with the IP addresses of the websites you will be using. Do not delete the & (ampersand) symbols that enclose the names.
6 Click Apply, and then close DPM Explorer.
7 Log on to a computer running the Interview Service.
8 Browse to:
[INSTALL_FOLDER]\IBM\SPSS\DataCollection\7\Interviewer Server\Server
Double-click RegIntSvr.exe to register the Interview Service computers with the Web Service computers.
9 Repeat steps 7 and 8 on all other computers running the Interview Service.
