Managing projects
When you create a project, you define what type of project it is, give it a name and description, specify a customer account, and define who may work on it. You may also put the project in a folder of similar or related projects: for example, in a folder of projects for a particular customer, or in a folder of projects to do with a particular topic.
Note Folders are a visual management tool only. Putting a project in a folder does not create a subfolder in the projects folder on the disk.
Project types
There are two types of projects:
Interviewer Server
These are projects for which you will be using UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer to gather data. (UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer includes tools for building the questionnaire, running test interviews, and viewing topline tables.) If you also have UNICOM Intelligence Reporter, you can use UNICOM Intelligence Reporter to analyze the survey data that you collect using UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer.
Analyze existing data
These are projects for which you want to use UNICOM Intelligence Reporter to perform in-depth analysis of survey data after it has been collected (for example, using another data collection tool). The data can be in any format supported by the UNICOM Intelligence Data Model.
