Creating a data link file
1 Create an empty text file and save it with a name of the form MyDataLink.udl.
2 Double-click on this file.
The Data Link Properties dialog opens.
3 On the Provider tab, select UNICOM Intelligence DM-n OLE DB Provider (where n is the version number).
4 On the Connection tab, enter the required Metadata type, Metadata location, Case data type, and Case data location.
5 On the Advanced tab, select the options you require.
6 Click OK.
The connection string is saved in the MyDataLink.udl file.
