Running Metadata Model Compare from the command line
You can run Metadata Model Compare from the command line. You might find this useful if, for example, you store the metadata documents in a version management system and you are able to configure how the system displays the differences between versions of these documents.
Syntax
MDMCompare [original_file] [comparison_file]
Remarks
If you omit the name of the comparison file or omit the names of both files, the Metadata Model Compare window opens so that you can specify the names.
When you run Metadata Model Compare from the command line, all languages, contexts, label types, and routing contexts in both metadata documents are compared. It is not possible to specify which languages, contexts, label types, and routing contexts you want to compare.
