Connecting to a IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services Repository
The Repository Server dialog enables you to connect to and log in to a IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services Repository, so that you can store objects to, and retrieve objects from the repository.
To connect to a IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services Repository
Click File > Store to Repository or Retrieve from Repository.
Connection settings
Connection settings are specific to each site or installation. For specific IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services Repository and port information, contact your system administrator.
Repository
Specify the name or IP address of a IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services Repository. You can connect to only one IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services Repository at a time.
Port
Port used to host the connection, typically 8080 by default.
Set Credentials
Specifies whether the user will provide the login credentials (user ID and password). Use this option to login with different credentials from those used to login to the current computer. If not checked, single sign-on is used. Single sign-on allows users to connect to a IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services Repository by using the user’s credentials on the current computer – obtained, for example, from Windows Active Directory.
Ensure secure connection
Specifies whether a secure SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) connection should be used. For information about configuring SSL, see Configuring SSL for IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services.
