Storing an object in a IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services Repository
1 On the File menu, click Store to Repository.
The IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services Repository Store dialog opens.
2 On the Location tab, select the folder where you want to store the object. (To create a new folder, click the icon in the upper right corner.) If you are storing a new object, you must have permission to write to the folder.
3 Enter a filename. The file will be stored with the name as it appears in the File name field. Extensions, such as .mrz, .dmz, and .mtz, are neither added nor removed.
4 Click Store.
Storing to a IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services Repository is completely independent from saving to the file system using Save As.
Optionally, you can:
Specify general information to store with the object, such as the author, a version label, and keywords to associate with the object.
Associate the file with one or more topics in the IBM SPSS Collaboration and Deployment Services Repository. Topics have a hierarchical structure and allow you to organize file by subject matter.
Specify security settings for the object.
When you add a version to an object, all previous versions will still be available.
