Configuration for enabling SPNEGO on the client
The following steps detail the process of enabling Simple and Protected GSSAPI Negotiation Mechanism (SPNEGO) on client computers:
To enable automatic NT login to UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin for Internet Explorer
1 Log into the windows active directory domain from the client computers.
2 Launch Internet Explorer.
3 In Internet Explorer, select Tools → Internet Options → Security tab.
4 Select the Local intranet icon, and then click Sites.
5 In the Local intranet window, ensure that the option Include all local (intranet) sites not listed in other zones is selected, and then click Advanced.
6 In the Local intranet window, enter an appropriate host name address in the Add this Web site to the zone field. Addresses specified in the Websites list are authorized for single sign-on (SSO). Close the Local intranet windows after making the appropriate changes.
7 On the Internet Options window, click the Advanced tab and scroll to the Security settings. Ensure that the Enable Integrated Windows Authentication box is selected, and then click OK
8 Restart Internet Explorer to activate the configuration changes.
To enable automatic NT login to UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin for Firefox
1 Enter about:config in the browser's URL field.
2 In the Filter, enter network.n
3 Double-click network.negotiate-auth.trusted-uris. This preference lists the sites that are permitted to engage in SPNEGO Authentication with the browser.
4 Enter a comma-delimited list of trusted domains or URLs, and then click OK.
5 Double-click network.negotiate.auth.delegation-uris. This preference lists the sites for which the browser may delegate user authorization to the server.
6 Enter a comma-delimited list of trusted domains or URLs, and then click OK.
7 Restart Firefox to activate the configuration changes.
