Configuring antivirus software exclusions
The following antivirus exclusions are recommended for UNICOM Intelligence products. Configuring the antivirus exclusions verifies any files that are required by UNICOM Intelligence, are not locked or modified by the antivirus software.
UNICOM Intelligence performance might also be improved by implementing the following antivirus exclusions. These guidelines apply to both real-time and on-demand antivirus scanning.
It is important to reach a balance between a secure server antivirus configuration (that does not cause reliability issues) and performance degradation. It is recommended that any antivirus exclusions be tested in a test environment, and then subjected to the maximum expected load in a production environment.
The following locations are based on the default and installation locations. If your installation paths are not the default paths, you must change the antivirus exclusion locations.
