When a call is connected by an autodialer, Phone Participants checks the status of the call to verify that it is still connected. The default checking frequency is every 1000 milliseconds, but you can specify a frequency of anything between 200 and 5000 milliseconds by changing the value of the CheckCallConnectionStatusInterval key in the Web.config file.

Checking the call status too frequently might affect performance.
