Quantum DSC
Quantum DSC (previously known as Punch DSC) has the following capabilities:
Reads response (case) data from any Quantum-format ASCII file. You can use the read capability of Quantum DSC to analyze your Quantum data in UNICOM Intelligence Reporter, or to transfer your Quantum data to any other data format supported by the UNICOM Intelligence Data Model. The Quantum data will be read based on card, column, and punch information held in a questionnaire definition (.mdd) file.
Writes response (case) data to a Quantum-format ASCII file based on card, column, and punch information held in a questionnaire definition (.mdd) file. Quantum DSC can also write out a basic Quantum specification based on the same card, column, and punch information.
Updates numeric response (case) data in an existing Quantum-format ASCII file. This capability is typically used to add weights to a Quantum file. For more information about weights, see Working with the Weight component.
