Required development tools

The following development tools must be installed before you build and run the connected mobile application example.

▪IBM MobileFirst Platform Studio V6.3.0

▪Eclipse Luna SR1 (4.4.1)

▪Dojo 1.10.1-20140915-IBM (IBM MobileFirst Platform Studio V6.3.0 built-in)

▪Android Development Tools. The tools are required only when you run the example within an Android Virtual Device (AVD) for testing purposes. Refer to:

▪Google Chrome is the recommended web browser when you preview and debug the example application. Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 is the recommended Internet Explorer version (Internet Explorer 8 is not supported in Dojo mobile 1.9.1).
