UNICOM Intelligence support level: Paper, Author, and Full
UNICOM Intelligence is a fully featured authoring, data collection, and analysis environment. The interviewing system supports different question types, styles, and groupings of questions in pages. The system can be authored with the UNICOM Intelligence Author user interface. However, the UNICOM Intelligence Professional integrated development environment supports a more extensive set of logic, expressions, and functions.
A typical mobile UNICOM Intelligence user might not require all of the available question and logic support. Therefore, when discussing UNICOM Intelligence support with mobile user organizations, it is useful to describe the mobile solution in regards to three support levels.

Sample and quota
Sample management is supported at the Author support level, as there are no additional interview scripting requirements. UNICOM Intelligence supports the full scripting of rules for starting a survey with sample management. Application developers can hardcode and document the rules that are used. The application must support some level of customization that is based on the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin Interviewing Options activity. The application developer decides upon the exact level of customization.
Full Quota support requires scripting. Quota is supported at the Author support level by documenting and by using a set of rules for when quota cells are pended and the responses when a cell is full. For an example of the rules, see
Quota transformation (Quota XML).
