The Data Entry Player supports all question types that are available in UNICOM Intelligence Author and UNICOM Intelligence Professional.

For variables that reside within a grid, the Data Entry Player displays each variable individually for operator entry.

You can use the keyboard or mouse to enter a response. When using a keyboard, the response is typed into the Entry Panel and confirmed by pressing Enter. You can use the mouse for entering categorical responses by clicking on the applicable responses displayed in the Response List Panel. To confirm an entry, click Next in the Entry Panel.

Once an entry is confirmed, the interface moves automatically to the next available variable for entry. Optionally, you can configure automatic advancement to the next available variable. For more information, see Auto advance to next entry.

The Data Entry Player ensures quality by enforcing valid entries as programmed in UNICOM Intelligence Author and UNICOM Intelligence Professional. Interfaces are provided for resolving non-valid entries. For more information, see Resolving erroneous entries.
