Entering a text response
A Text question allows for entry of letters, numbers and punctuation in a response string. Text responses have variable lengths depending on the maximum size programmed by the survey author. Some text responses can contain many characters. Text questions are effective for capturing qualitative data, commonly referred to as open-ended data or verbatims.
Entering a text response
Enter the response in the Entry Panel, and then press Enter or click Next to confirm the response, and then go to the next variable.
The Enter key does not create new lines within the Entry Panel. All data must be entered consecutively for an individual variable. Pressing Enter advances the Data Entry Player to the next variable for keying.
