Activating the script
Activating the script makes it available for test and live interviewing with UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server.
1 Click Tools > Activate
The Activate dialog opens. In this dialog, you define the requirements for the project.
The Activate command tries to log you in to the activation process using a trusted user account. If this fails, a login dialog appears. Enter your UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server Admin user name and password, and click OK.
2 The default settings are sufficient for your first interview script, so click Activate.
3 On the Confirm Activate dialog, click Yes.
4 When activation is complete, click OK.
5 To run an interview using UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server, go to the following URL:
http://server_name/mrIWeb/mrIWeb.dll?I.Project=MYFIRSTINTERVIEW&i.test=1
server_name is the name of your interviewing server. If UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server is installed on your computer, you can use localhost as the server name.
6 The questions are displayed in your browser as they were in UNICOM Intelligence Professional, but this time you have to answer each question as it is displayed.
If you cannot activate the script, it might be because the name of the project management server has not been set in UNICOM Intelligence Professional. The project management server is the computer that stores information about each project, such as the location of the project's files, the project’s status, and other parameters that control how the project will work.
To specify the name of the project management server, click Tools > Options. Type the name of the server in the Project Management Server box. If you have UNICOM Intelligence Professional and UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server installed on your local computer you can enter localhost as the server name, otherwise ask the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Server administrator what name to type here. Click OK.
