Categorical response lists
There are a number of layout characteristics you can set for categorical response lists besides changes to the individual response texts. You can specify any of the following:
Colors
The foreground (text) and background colors for the response block as a whole. For more information, seeColors for categorical response lists.
Display method
Whether the responses appear as texts with radio buttons or check boxes, or in some other format. For more information, see Display methods for categorical response lists.
Orientation
Whether the responses are displayed in columns down the page or in rows across the page. For more information, see Rows or columns, and how many?.
Number of rows or columns
For more information, see Rows or columns, and how many?.
Indentation
How far the response list is indented relative to the question text. For more information, see Indenting response lists.
You can specify all these requirements in the metadata section using the style keyword, or in the routing section using the question’s Style object.
