Selecting the entry mode
Live Interviewing projects
Live Interviewing mode is the only available entry mode when working with a Live Interviewing project, or on the Live Interviewing portion of a multi-modal project.
At UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer startup, Live Interviewing is the active mode for a Live Interviewing project, or the Live Interviewing portion of a multi-modal project.
Data Entry projects
The entry mode must be selected in Interviewer Console before data can be entered. At UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer startup, Initial Entry is the active mode for a Data Entry project, or the Data Entry portion of a multi-modal project.
Changing modes
You can change the active entry mode in Interviewer Console. The easiest way to change modes is to use the Entry Mode menu. A check mark indicates the active entry mode. To change entry modes, click an entry mode that is not already active.
You can also change the active entry mode in Interviewer Console through the View menu:
1 Select Entry Mode on the View menu, or press Alt+V, E.
2 Select the entry mode from the Entry Mode submenu:
Full Verification (Alt+V, E, F)
Partial Verification (Alt+V, E, P)
Initial Entry (Alt+V, E, D)
When you close UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer, it remembers the entry mode that you were working in. In the next UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer session, the previous entry mode will be active.
