Maximizing the use of page space
Typically, market research companies print the paper questionnaires at their head offices and then send the printed questionnaires to the interviewers or respondents. Reducing the number of pages means that interviewers have less paper to carry, and the market research company saves on paper, printing, and postage costs.
One way to reduce the page count for a document is to apply Looks that format category lists in more than one column. Other ways of maximizing the use of page space include:
changing the character and paragraph properties
changing the amount of space between items in the questionnaire
