Publishing the results
You can publish the results to a variety of formats such as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, a Word document, a PowerPoint presentation, an HTML file, or a plain text file.
You can change the output format, depending on the type of file you are exporting to. For example, when you export to PowerPoint, you can attach your own template to the slides.
Export all tables to Microsoft Excel
1 Open the Museum Survey Results.mtd file that you created previously.
2 Click File > Export > Tables, or click the Export Tables toolbar button This graphic is described in the surrounding text..
The Export Tables dialog opens.
3 In the Export tables to list, select Microsoft Excel. Leave the other settings as they are, and then click OK.
UNICOM Intelligence Reporter opens Microsoft Excel and displays the tables, each in a separate worksheet. Charts are displayed in a separate worksheet after each table.
4 In Excel, click File > Save, and then save the Excel file.
Export selected tables to Microsoft PowerPoint and attach a template
1 In the Tables pane, use Ctrl+click to select the tables named Age by gender and Age (banded) by gender.
2 Click File > Export > Tables.
The Export Tables dialog opens.
3 From the Export options, click Selected tables.
4 In the Export tables to list, select Microsoft PowerPoint, then click More >>.
5 Check the Apply PowerPoint template box, click Browse, and then select a template.
PowerPoint templates are stored under a Microsoft Office templates folder, for example, C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\Presentation Designs, with the file extension .pot.
When you have selected a template file, click Open.
6 Leave the other settings in the Export Tables dialog as they are, and then click OK.
UNICOM Intelligence Reporter opens Microsoft PowerPoint and displays the results in the form of a chart, formatted using the template you selected.
7 In PowerPoint, choose File > Save, and then save the PowerPoint file.
