Specifying additional question details in the Properties pane
The task pane that contains several options. If it is not already visible, select Properties from the list.
A list of properties displays for the selected question.
Layout Template
Attaches a layout template to the questionnaire, overriding the template specified for the questionnaire. Click the
... button next to the field, and then select the template. For more information, see
Applying a style template to an individual question.
Question Template
Attaches a question template to the question, overriding the template specified for the questionnaire. Click the ... button next to the field, and then select the template. This field is not available for Grid, Compound, Loop, Block, or Multiple Response Database questions.
Read Only
Indicates that the question is read‑only, and no response is required. Any responses that are defined for the question are unavailable.
