Printing questionnaires
You can print a draft of the questionnaire. The printout shows all the questions in the selected routing in the order in which they appear. You can also preview the questionnaire before you print it.
To create a questionnaire for distribution in printed format, use UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Paper to complete the formatting and to print the questionnaire. UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Paper provides a comprehensive solution for formatting paper questionnaires for scanning and keyboard data entry. Previewing the printout
1 Select the routing you want to print, and then do one of the following:
Click File > Print Preview.
Press Alt+F, V.
Click the Print Preview toolbar button Print Preview toolbar button.
If you do not have UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Paper installed, the Print Preview dialog appears. You can page through the printout and see how many pages it contains.
2 Click Print to display the Print dialog.
If UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Paper is installed, select a UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Paper Look Group. UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Paper opens, and displays a read-only preview of your questionnaire. Printing a questionnaire
1 Select the routing you want to print, and then do one of the following:
Click File > Print.
Press Ctrl+P.
Click the Print toolbar button Print toolbar button.
If UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Paper is not installed, the Print dialog appears.
If UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Paper is installed, select a UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Paper Look Group. UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Paper opens, and display the Print dialog. For more information about Look Groups, see the UNICOM Intelligence Interviewer - Paper User's Guide.
2 In the Print dialog, select the printer that you want to use.
3 If required, select the pages to print using the Page Range options.
4 Set any printer-specific options as required.
5 Click Print.
When using Microsoft Office 2007, the Paper automation APIs return a valid list of look groups only if you enable the Paper and Paper - Scan Add-on menus by using the Microsoft Word Add-ons menu.
