Use this pane to specify the file containing the additional variable(s) that you want to merge with the original survey data file. This could be a survey data file containing additional questions for the same respondents, or a file such as a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet containing additional data that is available about a respondent. For example, if the original survey includes a question about the respondent's job title, you could add a variable from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet that contains figures for average salaries for different job titles.

Click Browse, and then select the data file containing the additional variables.
